A ‘green’ welcome for freshmen

The Orientation Info Day for the freshmen came to a satisfactory close on 31 August 2018. Various Departments and Offices sent their representatives to meet the new students in Shaw Sports Complex. This annual event was a successful showcase of a green event as the participating units put green measures in their promotion and logistics arrangements. They also echoed the University’s call to reduce their printed materials to save resources.

The Campus Sustainability Office set a booth at the occasion to bid a ‘green’ welcome to the freshmen. It introduced the many green features on campus including the distinctive online platforms and activities and connected the new blood with sustainability on campus.
