Campus Sustainability Office organized a lunch talk themed ‘Birds of Hong Kong’ for staff and students on 25 April 2019. Ms. Jessica Wong, Education Officer of the Hong Kong Bird Watching Society, came and briefed the participants some very interesting information about the biodiversity and ecology of birds in Hong Kong. The talk received an enthusiastic response, and the participants were highly excited. This is part of the bigger picture of sustainability education on campus. This event helps enhance the participants’ ecological knowledge of birds, and in the long run, consolidates their appreciation towards nature and their awareness of conserving birds’ living environment in Hong Kong.
