Vivian is a full-time athlete on the Hong Kong fencing team. She is a 2016 Rio Olympian, NCAA champion, and current world #6 rank women’s epee fencer. She became a pescetarian in college and decided to turn vegan in 2017. As a plant-fuelled athlete, she hopes to show how good she feels and prove that she is stronger than before. Vivian is now training for the 2020 Olympics, finishing her masters in Chinese Law, and she will be starting her Juris Doctor this fall.

The workshop will introduce the various ingredients used to make modern vegan desserts. It will give you hands-on experience in handling the equipment and techniques needed to prepare desserts free of dairy and eggs. Participants will learn to make a creative and healthy dessert: Mango Pomelo Dessert with Chia Seeds and Purple Sweet Potato Truffle.
