尾部稍開叉，與一般猛禽的扇型成對比。眼後方羽毛和咀黑色。

Flaps its wings several times between glides. Soars on uplifting hot air current, often in flocks.

飛行動作多為略拍幾下翅膀，然後滑翔，會利用上升熱氣流，在高空盤旋打轉，很多時候成群出現。
