頭頂橙栗色，背綠色，尾長。【與紅頭穗鶥比較，本種尾和咀較長。】

Usually stay in the undergrowth but not afraid of humans. Tail often cocked.

多見於林叢下層活動，但不怕人。尾部時常豎起。
