Residence Requirement

Students shall spend two years at their Home University to complete the required coursework and research work and shall spend the rest of their time at their Host University.

Thesis review and oral examination

Students will need to submit a single thesis in English. Thesis review will be conducted separately.

One oral examination will be conducted at the home university to assess the student’s thesis. The Board of Examiners (BoE) (known as Dissertation Judgement Committee at SNU) shall be formed separately according to the regulations of each university.

Chief supervisors from both PolyU and the partner university need to attend the oral exams.

Continuation fee

Students will be required to pay miscellaneous fees such as continuation and examination fees as required by the host university
