The NetID is the same as the Student Number, but with the last alphabetic character in lower case. For example, an RPg student with Student Number “20123456R” will have NetID of “20123456r”. With the NetID and NetPassword, the RPg student can have free access to PolyU’s central IT facilities and services including eStudent, Research Student Portal, Learning Management System (LEARN@PolyU), Academic Computing Services, wired and wireless Internet connection, HelpCentre Online Tracking Service, network storage, etc.
