To supplement the Government schemes, PolyU also administers a financial assistance scheme for FT government-funded local students. Grants and interest-free loans are available for students with genuine financial difficulties. Most of the funds, however, have been earmarked for undergraduate students by donors. Limited funds are available for local RPg students. In addition, owing to limited funds, the level of assistance offered by the PolyU Scheme is much lower than that of the Government schemes.
