Academic Advising
Taking Students Under Our Wing
~ Academic Advising at HTI ~
Academic advising is a process through which students will be guided, supported, encouraged and empowered to make informed decisions in accordance to their academic goals and career aspirations. We aim at providing students with a supportive framework to enhance their learning experience and development during their years of studies at HTI.
Since 2012/13 academic year, HTI has adopted a policy of allocating each new undergraduate student into a group of six or seven students within their classes to facilitate academic advising. Each group will have an academic advisor (at Instructor level or above) from within the core discipline academic staff body (i.e. from the MLS or RAD team).
