Kavin Bloomer joined Morgan Stanley in 2005 and is currently Executive Director based in Hong Kong.  He oversees the group’s hotel asset management and acquisition efforts for funds managed or advised by Morgan Stanley group throughout Asia Pacific.

Kavin’s first posting with Morgan Stanley was as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Panorama Hospitality K.K.  He was subsequently promoted to President and Representative Director. Panorama Hospitality was a wholly owned subsidiary of the firm.  The group managed assets in Japan, Australia, China, India and across Europe.

Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Kavin held senior management positions with Goldman Sachs Realty Japan Limited and Archon Group L.P., a Goldman Sachs affiliate, in Japan, USA and Thailand.  He also enjoyed a 15-year career with Starwood Hotels and ITT Sheraton Corporation.

A graduate of the University of Massachusetts (Amherst, MA, USA) in 1982, Kavin received his Master of Professional Studies Degree from the Cornell University Graduate School (Ithaca, NY, USA) in 1990.
