Level 2 Award in Wines & Spirits

For over 40 years, Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET®) has offered high quality education and training for wine and spirit professionals and enthusiasts around the world. Now, the Food and Wine Academy is the official approved programme provider of WSET Level 2 Award in Wines and Spirits.

New brands of spirits and wines are booming into consumer market, especially among Asia. This course qualification will perfectly suit a novice wine and spirit enthusiast or those wishing to pursue their career in the wines & spirits, hospitality or retail business.

The aim of the course is to focus on the key grape varieties and regions of the world, and principle varieties of spirits. This weekend intensive course is your fastpass to enter the wine world:

  • •A multiple-choice paper of 50 questions [Passing Grade: 55%]

This qualification is accredited at Level 2 in the UK National Qualifications Framework. It is also approved as a Technical Certificate for the Advanced Level Hospitality Modern Apprenticeship. Successful students will receive a certificate and WSET Level 2 Award in Wines and Spirits lapel pin.
