Over 31 industry partners participated in Career Day 2006

SHTM's Career Day was held success fully in early March . With strong support from the industry, this year, a total of 31 exhibitors participated in the event held at the Jockey Club Auditorium on campus. A total of 10 companies also provided very useful "Career Talks" for our students.

The event is held annually for students to meet with potential employers in the hospitality industry. Participating organisations have the opportunity discuss with the students their available positions, explain the job requirements, receive student résumés and make interview appointments if appropriate.

About 1,000 students visited the booths and attended the career talks on the day. The participating organisations were very satisfied with the event as they were able to meet and talk to students who are interested in a career in the hospitality industry.
