Ms Ng Tin Yan, Joyce, a Year 1 student on the SHTM BSc in Hotel Management programme, has been selected as the awardee of the HSBC Overseas Scholarship 2009/10. This scholarship will cover the costs of one year of study at Cornell University in the US during the 2009/10 academic year up to a maximum of around HK$396,000. Professor Kaye Chon has completed his six-year term as a member of the Tourism Strategy Group for the HKSAR Government. Professor Cathy Hsu takes his place as a member for the new term. |
