Latest Graduates Ready for Success
The SHTM's latest cohort of 881 graduates embarked on their careers with inspiring words ringing in their ears following the PolyU 17th Congregation (SHTM) held at the Jockey Club Auditorium on 4 November 2011. Receiving their degrees and diplomas were 5 Ph.D., 5 D.HTM, 5 MPhil, 140 MSc, 396 BSc, 59 BA and 271 HD graduates.

Fifth UNWTO/PATA Forum Held in Guilin
The Fifth UNWTO/PATA Forum on Tourism Trends and Outlook was successfully held in Guilin, China, on 26-28 October 2011. The Forum was co-organised by the United Nations World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO) and the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA), and hosted by the Guilin Municipal People's Government in collaboration with PolyU.

Seventh China Tourism Forum Held in Hainan
The Seventh China Tourism Forum was staged in Haikou, Hainan Province, China, from 24 to 25 October 2011, hosted by the United Nations World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO) and The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and co-organised by the SHTM and the Tourism College at Hainan University, with special support from the Hainan Tourism Bureau.
