Generative AI technology can play a crucial role in creating a customized learning experience that empowers students to progress smoothly towards their learning destination. An insightful seminar titled "Personalised Learning, Research, and Innovation for Higher Education" has been organized on 24 January 2024. In the seminar, Dr Prasad RAM, Co-Founder and CEO of Gooru discussed the transformative power of Generative AI in personalized learning. Following the seminar, Mr. Srinivasan PADMANABHAN, Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer of Gooru, provided a live demonstration of the platform’s capabilities. Attendees were captivated by Mr. Padmanabhan’s demonstration, which was facilitated by Dr Eric TSUI, Senior Project Fellow of the Educational Research Centre.
The seminar concluded with a meeting held on the subsequent day, bringing together Dr Ram, Mr. Padmanabhan, Prof HU Xiangen, Director of the Institute for Higher Education Research and Development (IHERD) and representatives from the University. This meeting served as a platform to explore opportunities for future collaboration, fostering a promising outlook for innovative educational initiatives.
