Prof HU Xiangen, DoIHERD, has been invited to deliver a keynote speech at the 3rd Seminar in the Series on Exploring CAT Arrangement in SY Admission, scheduled for 25 October, 2024, at PolyU.
Titled “Harnessing Generative AI to Enhance Academic Mobility and Bridge Achievement Gaps for SYA Students in Hong Kong”, Prof HU explored with participants how Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) can reduce achievement gaps and support Senior Year Admitted (SYA) students as they transfer between universities in Hong Kong to better align with their academic goals and aspirations.
Prof HU also participated in the group discussion and shared his views on how technology facilitates transfer and transparency in the context.
