HAECO (Hong Kong Aircraft Engineering Company Limited) is a leading provider of aircraft maintenance, repair, and over-haul (MRO) services, established in 1950.  Renowned for its state-of-the-art facilities, HAECO offers comprehensive solutions including airframe, line, component, and cabin services.  This technical visit offers a unique opportunity to explore HAECO's advanced MRO capabilities.

 

Note that this is 1 of the 2 events organized by MILESAA on the same day.  This is the morning section.  Participants are welcomed to join both sections.

Full name in English and ID / passport number are required for registration for security purpose

Dress Code

Must wear closed-toe shoes
No dresses or skirts
Avoid wearing lose clothing or accessories
Must follow safety instructions req by HAECO
No smoking

Special Requirements for the Security Measure in the Airport Restricted Area

As HAECO is located within the Restricted Area of the airport, the following requirements must be followed by all visitors:

For Security

  • Please bring along a valid HKID card or passport for identification purposes.  Access to this restricted area will only be granted to those who can provide proper identification for security measure.
  • Visitor permit must be prominently displayed throughout the visit
  • Visitor must stay with the tour group at all times and remain within the seeing and hearing distance of the tour host.
  • Photography and video recordings are strictly prohibited throughout the facility, except at designated points with special permission.
  • Keep your personal belongings with you at all times.

For Environment, Health & Safety

  • No smoking on the premises.
  • Wear necessary protective devices as instructed or when required.
  • Stay within the green paths in the facilities unless instructed otherwise.
  • Adhere to all warning signs as displayed. Do not touch or attempt to operate any machinery, tools, or parts.
  • In the event of a fire alarm, remain calm and follow the tour host's instructions to evacuate the facility in an orderly manner. Do not use elevators and await official confirmation of safety before reentering the area in question.

Clothing and Shoes

  • To ensure safety, all visitors must wear closed-toe shoes and comfortable attire that allows for easy movement during the hangar visit. Please refrain from wearing dresses or skirts.
  • Avoid wearing loose clothing or accessories that could pose a risk in the hangar environment.

 

Notes to Participants on 2 Events on the Same Day

There are 2 events organized by MILESAA on the same day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon.

  • Participants can select morning section only (Technical Visit to HAECO), or afternoon section only (Technical Visit to CAD Aviation Education Path), or both
  • If participants will join both sections, coach will be provided and lunch (self-financed) will be arranged.  If only 1 sessionis joined, return coach back to PolyU will be provided.
  • Basic insurance will be provided but participants are suggested to buy their own insurance if needed.
