The Xi'an Jiaotong University (XJTU) - The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) Knowledge Management and Innovation Research Centre has been set up in August 2009 by the Knowledge Management Research Centre of PolyU and the Industrial Engineering team of School of Management of XJTU with the aim to actively promote knowledge management research and practice to Chinese Mainland. Prof. Timothy Tong, President of PolyU was invited to officiate the inauguration ceremony of the Centre with Prof. Xiaoping Song, Vice President of XJTU and Prof. Wang Yingluo, Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering at Xi'an on 17 April 2010.
