Over 110 overseas knowledge management researchers and practitioners from more than 30 countries from European, American, African, Australian and Asian Continents gathered at PolyU to attend this ICICKM conference.
Prof. Walter Yuen, Vice President of PolyU welcomed the delegates and briefed them with the latest development of PolyU. An opening speech on “Rising Intellectual Capital in China - What causes the Phenomenological Economic Potential and Growth” was delivered by the Chairman of the New Club of Paris, Prof. Leif Edvinsson. Another keynote speaker was Mr. Stephen Selby, Director of the Intellectual Property Department of the HKSAR Government who shared with the audience the success of an intellectual capital management programme launched in Hong Kong. Alongside with the conferences was several PhD colloquium in which doctorate candidates present their latest findings with constructive comments from the academics.
