Located in Beijing-Hong Kong Innovation Centre (BHIC) in Wanchai, PolyU's off-campus co-working space PolyU InnoHub@BHIC provides a dynamic and collaborative environment with offices and workstations for PolyU start-ups. Serving as a strategic platform, it supports startup incubation and accelerates business growth, fostering innovation and entrepreneurship.

Eligibility :
- Each application must be submitted by a Principal Applicant (PA). Principal Applicant must be a student, alumnus, or academic and research staff member of PolyU.
- The Principal Applicant must be a founder or co-founder holding equity in the applying company, or a Principal Investigator for teams that have not yet established a company.
- The applicant should not have any actual, potential, or perceived conflicts of interest with The Hong Kong Polytechnic University or the PolyU Shenzhen Research Institute.
- For previous InnoHub@BHIC members, registering a company is required to apply for the following year.
Application Process
Eligible project team or start-up must complete the online application form through the PA with the following documents uploaded on or before the application deadline:
- a 15-slide pitch deck and a 7-min pitching video
- CVs of all team members
- a copy of student ID/ graduation certificate/ staff ID of each PolyU student, alumnus or staff
- Proof of holding the equity for the Principal Applicant
- Declaration of Use of PolyU Knowledge/ Innovations/ Technologies duly signed/ endorsed by PolyU academic staff, with supporting documents (if applicable)
- Company registration documents (if applicable)
The Principal Applicant may be invited for an interview.

1. 40 Fixed-desks - Dedicated desk in open workspace with controlled access
• Up to 2 fixed desks, 4 access, and 1 locker per start-up.
• The first 6 months are free of charge, with a minimum usage requirement of 4 days per week.
• Upon passing the mid-year assessment at the 6th months, an additional 6 months of free usage will be granted.
• After 12 months, continued workspace usage will require payment at a discounted rate of HKD 1,500 per month.
2. 5 Private Offices for 2, 5, 6 and 12 people
• The initial lease will be issued for a minimum duration of 12 months.
• The first 6 months are free of charge. From the 7th month onward, rent will be charged at a discounted rate.
• If the lease is terminated in the 7th month, the company must pay a 3-month rental fee for use of office.
• An assessment will be conducted in the 12th month by the review committee; if approved, the discounted rate can continue.
• Discounted prices vary based on room size, ranging from $8,960 to $17,360.

Basic Office Facilities: Off-campus office space at convenient location, equipped with essential office furniture, as well as shared amenities including shared common areas, pantry, and meeting rooms available for rent.

Membership of PolyU Industrial Centre: Gain access to state-of-the-art facilities and resources.

Innovation and Entrepreneurship Activities: Members will have opportunities to participate in various entrepreneurship activities, such as exhibitions, roadshows, and networking events.

Mentorship and Training: Mentoring and training sessions will be offered to enhance the entrepreneurship skills of members.

Professional Consultancy Services: Consultancy services at discounted or complimentary rates will be offered by the professional service partners of InnoHub@HK and InnoHub@BHIC.

Recruitment Services: Recruitment platform (e.g. job fairs) will be offered to members to expand their teams by engaging with talented individuals.
- Purpose of Collection
The personal data provided by you to Knowledge Transfer and Entrepreneurship Office (“KTEO”) of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (“PolyU”) will be collected, retained, processed, used and transferred (within or outside of Hong Kong) for the following purposes:
- Processing your inquiries, application, registration or request for services, activities and facilities;
- Facilitating communications with you;
- Facilitating implementation of PolyU’s policies and procedures, and monitoring compliance with the same;
- Enabling PolyU to comply with any applicable procedures, laws, regulations or court orders (in each case whether in Hong Kong or overseas), any requests by government, statutory, regulatory or law enforcement authority, and valid legal processes, ordinances obligations;
- Conducting quality assurance, surveys and review, statistical analysis, and research; and
- Other purposes directly relating to any of the above.
- You are required to provide your personal data, other than those items indicated as optional. Failure to provide such data may lead to inability to process your application, registration or request for services, activities and facilities, or maintain contact with you.
- Disclosure and Transfer of Personal Data
PolyU will keep your personal data confidential and only authorized members will have access to and handle your personal data. PolyU may disclose or transfer your personal data to service providers and contractors engaged in activities on behalf of PolyU within or outside Hong Kong solely for the purposes set out in paragraph 1 above.
PolyU may also disclose your personal data when authorized or required by law and in response to requests from law enforcement agencies, government departments or regulatory authorities, or where required to protect PolyU’s rights or properties.
- Access and Correction of Personal Data
You have the right to request for access and correction of your personal data held by PolyU. Any data access and correction request according to the Ordinance should be made in writing to Innohub by email at innohub@polyu.edu.hk. A fee may be imposed for processing your data access request.
- Security, Accuracy and Retention of your Personal Data
PolyU takes reasonable precautions to prevent the loss, misappropriation, unauthorized access or destruction of your data. PolyU also takes reasonable steps to ensure that all personal data held by it is accurate, complete, correct and reliable for the intended use.
Your personal data will be retained by PolyU according to its policy on retention of data and records.
