Alvin WONG

Alvin was a veteran fashion practitioner commencing as early as early 80s and had engaged deeply in design, marketing, merchandising, R & D and sourcing & logistics of fashion industry with global exposures.  His earlier design work was awarded with the best costume design in Hong Kong Drama Festival.  Apart from being the initiator for Ring Spun Denim, he was the innovator for peripheral dyeing for yarn dyed denim which made the related supply chain earn almost billion.  His passion in improving operation systems in his business towards higher value chain enhancements pioneered the supply chain management models developed a decade thereafter.  He disrupted manufacturing norms with new perspectives in which the first few manufacturers adopted eventually became leaders of their trades.

Alvin became an entrepreneur when he shifted his career in building industry in mid 90s.  He built infrastructures in MTR stations to enable mobile network connected in subway.  His talent in project management in perfect team building and holistic problem-solving gained him credits from his client. MTRC continuously invited him to participate in various challenging projects to ensure a better project control.
