BEYOND VISION PROJECTS
BEYOND VISION PROJECTS (BVP) is a social enterprise supported by a group of passionate volunteers, professional advisors and academics. They developed the Tactile-Audio Interaction System (TAIS), which has been proved to enable the mental image building process of the visually impaired (VI) and elderly people with low vision.
BVP provides services with TAIS: a simple-to-create “touch synchronised” tactile and audio tool to enable the VI and elderly people with low vision to receive visual information through touching and hearing in all possible aspects of daily life. BVP also offers training for TAIS services and production to open up job opportunities.
