"AquaCos" is a name with two components: Aquatic and Cosmetics, which embody their vision to foster the topical application of microalgae-derived active ingredients in the wound patch and cosmeceutical industry. The company is developing a wound recovery accelerating patch to minimize the duration of suffering from pain, discomfort, and inconvenience, and prevent laceration when removing the patch for both acute and chronic wounds patients. An array of beneficial activities of the patch including antibacterial, antifungal, anti-scarring, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidative functions makes the company stand out among the peer products as an all-in-one solution for different wounds. With the growing demand for natural and environmentally friendly products in contemporary society, and the huge potential of microalgae extract on skin care formulations, the company's team is also planning to develop a diversity of microalgal cosmetic products, bringing microalgae to daily usage and replacing synthetic chemicals.
