Specifications

Major Functions / Key Features

Circular Dichroism (CD) spectroscopy is one of the most important techniques for the characterization of proteins' secondary structure, and the determination of absolute configuration and stereochemical analysis of biomolecules, organic molecules and inorganic complexes.  CD is an absorption spectroscopic method that utlilzes circularly polarized light to study the structural aspects of a chiral molecule (i.e. the structure of a molecules and its mirror image is not superimposable to each other).
