An Automatic Peptide Synthesizer
Specifications
Major Functions / Key Features
The MultiPep 2™ automatic peptide synthesizer is capable for synthesizing hundreds of peptides in parallel using various formats, for applications such as peptide libraries, peptide arrays and PNA synthesis.
The synthesis formats include:
- Plates: up to 384 (4 x 96) peptides at 1 - 10 μmol
- Columns:
- 48 mini-columns (0.25, 0.5 mL) at 1 -15 μmol
- 48 columns (2, 5, 10, 20 mL) at 10 – 500 μmol
- 72 columns (2, 5, 10 mL) at 10 – 300 μmol
- Micro Peptide Arrays: SPOT Synthesis on Cellulose Membranes, up to 2400 peptides on 4 cellulose membranes
- Copies of Arrays: CelluSpots™, up to 768 peptides on a dissolvable cellulose support for spotting on many identical slides
