Analytical Platform for Material Flammability and Fire Emissions for Fire and Safety Engineering Education

breadcrumb01

Specifications

Major Functions / Key Features

The education platform integrates TGA-DSC and real-time FT-IR spectroscopy to enhance understanding of fire science. The TGA-DSC apparatus measures the decomposition rate and heat release rate of materials under high temperatures, quantifying pyrolysis, oxidation, and heat of decomposition in fire scenarios. The real-time FT-IR analyzer detects key gas species in fire smoke and collects particulate matter for further analysis. Together, these components provide a comprehensive tool for studying material flammability, heat transfer, and fire emissions, supporting advanced fire science education.
