Biography


Dr Erin Lu received her Bachelor’s degree in psychology from City University of Hong Kong, and accomplished PhD in Psychology in The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Dr Lu joined Department of Rehabilitation Sciences as a postdoctoral fellow in 2017 and developed research interests in East meets West in Rehabilitation Sciences. Dr Lu has research experiences about the antidepressive effect of qigong and health benefits of aromatherapy for elderly. She also provided research support for the consultancy study of the Rehabilitation Programme Plan (RPP) of the Government of the HKSAR. Dr Lu is interested in the research on psychosocial benefits of complementary and alternative medicine, especially in terms of the promotion of positive psychology.
