The Hong Kong Observatory has implemented a warning system. Tropical Cyclone Warning and Rainstorm Warning are very common in Hong Kong. When Tropical Cyclone signal No. 8 or above is hoisted and/or black rainstorm warning is in force, classes/ examinations will be cancelled.
