摘要

The Research Institute for Land and Space (RILS) cordially invites you to join The 4th International Symposium of Water Disaster Mitigation and Water Environment Regulation (WDWE2024) cum The 14th South China Sea Tsunami Workshop (SCSTW-14), to be held from 29 November to 2 December 2024. The theme this year will be “Coastal and Urban Resilience under Climate Change”. This Symposium will be an interdisciplinary platform for international scholars to look in recent research and development in coastal and urban resilience under climate change.

The event will cover six topics related to coastal and urban resilience under climate change, including but not limited to:

1. Extreme Weather under Climate Change

2. Water-related Disasters

3. Infrastructure Resilience

4. Hydro-environment and Eco-hydraulics

5. Al and loT Applications in Disaster Response and Environmental Regulation

6. South China Sea Tsunami
