Research Focus Areas

Research Centre for Assistive Technology focuses:

1) on the collaborative research among PolyU faculty members and researchers that leads to mid- and upstream studies on assistive technology;

2) on the development of downstream assistive technology products for people with disabilities and the ageing population with the healthcare, social, and industrial sectors; and

3) on nurturing students and young researchers from PolyU through education and scholarly activities to further develop their interests in assistive technology for the benefit of a resilient integrated society in Hong Kong.
