About the workshop
The teaching approach for this workshop would be hands-on lab or your personal computers. You would be guided to build game level for platformer game that would provide a premier about the tooling necessary for building game levels in Unity.

Course Outline:
11 March (Day 1)
- Unity Interface(Project, Scene, Outline, Inspector, Menu's)
- GameObject, Transform, Basic Shapes(Cube, Sphere, Capsule)
-> Hands-on Use of Scale tool, translate tool, rotate tool
-> Reference size, Vector3.zero, Vector3.one, foot position
- Collider, RigidBody
- Scripting
- Input, movement, rotation
- Physics, Velocity, Drag, Vector3
- Shooting
-> Prefab, Instantiation
-> Collision, Physics Layers
- Unity Asset Store and Kenney
18 March (Day 2)
- Navmesh, timer
- driven AI Player
- Take Damage, Die
- Basic Game Loop, Reset the Game
- Game Juice

Registration is required and on a first-come, first-served basis.

Successful registrants will receive a confirmation email before the event.

Refundable Deposit: To encourage students attend and provide valueable feedback for organising future workshops, we request student deposit 200HKD fully returnable provided 3 hours of the attendance. If student doesn't attend 70% of the workshop, the deposit would be debited to Finance Office.
