At RCOcean, we harness genomics, synthetic biology, bioinformatics and AI to explore marine biodiversity and bioprospecting potentials, discover bioactive compounds, and develop high-throughput screening for pharmaceutical, industrial, nutraceutical, and environmental applications. We aim to improve human health, promote ecosystem resilience, and drive industrial innovation. For instance, by profiling global marine microbiomes, we track ecosystem changes due to climate change and pollution, supporting ocean conservation and responsible resource utilisation. Through cutting-edge research and collaboration, we transform marine discoveries into real-world solutions.
