RCSV Member Says Myopia and Astigmatism are on the Rise among Children

Dr Jeffrey Leung, RCSV member; Research Assistant Professor in SO, said in an interview with HK01 earlier that myopia and astigmatism are on the rise among schoolchildren during the pandemic. To better protect children’s eyes, Dr Leung suggested parents encourage their children to practise the 20-20-20 rule, that is, to look at something 20 feet away for 20 seconds, for every 20 minutes of screen time.   Online coverage: HK01 - https://polyu.me/3NwDXOL
