Prof. CAO Jiannong, Director of the Research Institute for Artificial Intelligence of Things (RIAIoT), shared with Ta Kung Pao about his insights on formulating a blueprint for the development of artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance Hong Kong’s core competitiveness.
Prof. Cao indicated that the application of AI will greatly drive Industry 4.0 and digital transformation, and AI-enabled data analytics can help improve production efficiency and quality.
RIAIoT focuses on basic and applied research on various aspects of AIoT, including smart infrastructure and construction, smart healthcare, Internet of vehicles, smart logistics, etc.
