Prof. SONG Haiyan, Director of the Research Centre for Digital Transformation of Tourism (RCDTT) and Associate Dean and Chair Professor of the School of Hotel and Tourism Management, has been appointed as a Member of the Expert Advisory Group for High-Quality Development of Tourism in Hainan, for a term of three years.
The Hainan Provincial Committee and the Hainan Provincial Government recently established the Expert Advisory Group for High-Quality Development of Tourism, with the aim to enhance the consultative decision-making for high-quality tourism development. The advisory group has appointed Mr LUO Shugang, Member of the Standing Committee of the 14th National People’s Congress (NPC), Director of the Education, Science, Culture and Public Health Committee of the NPC, and Former Minister of Culture and Tourism, as the Chief Expert, and 15 expert consultants to assist in promoting the high-quality development of Hainan’s cultural and tourism industry.
