The Coca-Cola Company Visits PolyU

ITDO received a delegation from the Coca-Cola Company on June 24, 2018 which was led by Dr. Wamwari Waichungo, The Vice President, Global Scientific and Regulatory Affairs at The Coca-Cola Company, to discuss and explore potential collaboration in food safety. The latest progress of PolyU’s technology development and highlights of the university’s effort in food safety area, especially encouraging closer engagement among the industry, academia and government, were introduced by Food Safety Consortium (FSC). PolyU’s Food Safety & Technology Research Centre (FSTRC) also shared our research excellence in food safety and technology with a critical mass of faculty expertise, on-going private and public partnerships and innovative projects with substantive impacts. The delegates expressed their devoted enthusiasm for further follow up.
