Summary
Pursuing its mission of showcasing cutting-edge culture, art technology and research achievement in Asia’s academic field, PolyU Research Centre for Cultural and Art Technology (CAT) has invited scholar-artists from renowned universities in Asia to participate in the inaugural Art Tech Exhibition “Researching the Future” and “The Academic Convergence of Art and Technology” Symposium to exchange research experience and achievement with PolyU community and local community.
The opening ceremony and performance will be held on 11 Dec 2023. Prof. INAMI Masahiko (The University of Tokyo, Japan) will present JIZAI ARMS performance at the opening ceremony, recently showcased at Ars Electronica 2023. “The Academic Convergence of Art and Technology” Symposium will follow in the afternoon. The 6 featured scholar-artists and the special invited guest speaker Prof. TAN Liang (Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts) will share their insights on artistic research in the field of cultural and art technology.
