Visit by Guangzhou-Qingyuan delegation

A Guangzhou–Qingyuan delegation visited PolyU on March 20 for industry-academia- exchanges and experience sharing. The visit aimed to explore collaboration in research, innovation, knowledge transfer, and talent development.

Prof. Bin Fei, professor of School of Fashion and Textiles and member of RI-IWEAR, provided an overview of the School’s latest developments and research advancements in fashion and textiles. PolyU is dedicated to translating cutting-edge research into practical applications, contributing to societal and economic sustainability.

Both parties engaged in in-depth discussions on textile technology, talent development, and future collaboration opportunities. They reached a consensus, committing to cooperation. PolyU will leverage its strengths in research and innovation to collaborate with Qingyuan City in advancing textile technology, transforming research outcomes, and cultivating top-tier talent, and driving sustainable growth in the textile industry.
