Seminar on Technology Support Centre, HKSTP for Our Ventures in R&D

ITDO jointly organized a seminar with the Hong Kong Science & Technology Parks Corporation [HKSTP] to explore collaboration opportunities for enhancing the breadth and depth of our research and technology development with a multitude of incubation services and facilities available at Biotech Support Centre [BSC] and Material Analysis Laboratory [MAL].

The seminar was kicked off with the warm welcome given by Mr. Y.C. Lee, Senior Manager, Technology Support Centres of HKSTP.  Mr. Richard Lam - Laboratory Manager, Biotech Support Centre, further gave a concise account on the facilities and utilities ready-to-use at the BSC. Some of the prime examples cited included the Laboratory Information Management System [LIMS], Convenience Laboratory Product Purchase Plan [CLPPP], University Equipment Collaboration Program and so on. The seminar also covered HKSTP’s Analysis Services with an informative session delivered by Mr. Danny Lau – Laboratory Manager, Material Analysis & Solar Energy Laboratory.  Mr. Lau showcased some key experiences in surface analysis entailing morphological analysis, roughness measurement, film thickness measurement as well as elemental and composition analysis.
