Iberian Nanotechnology Delegation Visit PolyU

The delegation of International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory (INL) and Obducat Group led by Director General Prof, Dr, Dr h c Lars Montelius, visited PolyU on 1 September, 2017. RIO arranged a meeting between the delegates and PolyU’s Head of Department of Applied Physics Professor Daniel Lau, Associate Professor of Department of Electronic and Information Engineering Dr. Gang Li, Associate Professor of Interdisciplinary Division of Biomedical Engineering Dr. Mo Yang and Assistant Professor of Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering Dr. Roy Law and Assistant Director of Innovation and Technology Development Ms. Karen Jiang to exchange nanotechnology related R&D and discuss the latest developments in the applications of nanotechnology in fields such as engineering, life sciences, and food safety.

A tour visit to PolyU’s Research Facility in Materials Characterization and Device Fabrication (UMF) was arranged to introduce the diverse range of equipment for materials synthesis, characterization and processing. The delegates showed interest in future collaboration.
