Fraunhofer Group for Life Sciences, Institute for Interfacial Engineering and Biotechnology and Fraunhofer Center for Chemical-Biotechnological Processes Visit PolyU

ITDO received the delegations from Fraunhofer Institute for Interfacial Engineering and Biotechnology (IGB), Fraunhofer Center for Chemical-Biotechnological Processes (CBP) and Fraunhofer Group for Life Sciences (LS) from 18 to 22 October, 2018. Dr. Markus Wolperdinger, Director of IGB, Mr. Gerd Unkelbach, Director of CBP and Dr. Claus-Dieter Kroggel, Head of Central Office of LS had the meetings with PolyU’s Department of Applied Biology and Chemical Technology (ABCT), Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE), Department of Building & Real Estate (BRE), Department of Building Services Engineering (BSE) to exchange innovative projects with substantive impacts and discuss the latest technology developments and applications in the fields of engineering, life sciences, and environment.

Visits to PolyU’s University Research Facility in Chemical and Environmental Analysis, 3D Printing and Civil and Environmental Engineering’s Laboratories was arranged to introduce the diverse range of cutting edge facilities to encourages the research atmosphere and nurture collaboration from experts in different backgrounds.
