PolyU and Sun Yat-sen University Technology Exchange Seminar

The Greater Bay Area Biotechnology Collaboration Platform set up in early 2018 laid the groundwork for PolyU’s cooperation with Sun Yat-sen University (SYSU), Shenzhen University, Macau University of Science and Technology and other partners for biotechnology and translational medicine research. To further initiate collaborative projects, the Innovation and Technology Development Office coordinated a group of PolyU expertise to Sun Yat-sen University for technology exchange on AI/Big Data/Engineering in Medical Applications.

The seminar was joined by a multidisciplinary team of PolyU including the Faculty of Engineering, Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering, Department of Electronic and Information Engineering, Department of Biomedical Engineering,  Department of Computing, School of Nursing and the Industrial Centre, to have fruitful discussion with 16 professors from Zhongshan School of Medicine, SYSU (SYSU-SOM) and The First Affiliated Hospital of SYSU.
