PolyU attended China Resources Life Science’s Innovation Forum

Summary

On 5-7 November 2019, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) took part in China Resources Life Science Group’s Innovation Forum and discussed with experts in a range of topics in life science, and how the university facilitates research collaboration to push innovation and technology development in the field.

In conjunction with the forum, China Resources Life Science Group officially held its opening ceremony. The company will focus on life science research and technology development, as well as strengthen both local and international research collaborations. Dr. Terence Lau, Director of PolyU Innovation and Technology Development expressed that he looks forward to further work with China Resources Life Science Group to facilitate the life science research and technology transfer in Mainland China. In fact, PolyU and China Resources Life Science already have plans to set up a research centre to facilitate research development and technology transfer in the area of precision medicine. In this research collaboration, PolyU researchers will further expand the scientific work in precision medicine with support from China Resources Life Science Group.
