PolyU Innovation and Technology Series - Alibaba Innovative Research (AIR) Seminar

Alibaba Innovative Research (AIR) is a global research program initiated by Alibaba Group, aiming at exploring innovative science and technology with research institutions worldwide. It supports frontier studies in computer science and the related areas by funding application driven research programs that perfectly fit into real industry scenarios. PolyU researchers have been successfully funded several projects in the past AIR 2017 and 2018.

ITDO invited Alibaba's senior research scientists Prof. Lei Zhang to introduce the forthcoming AIR program 2019 in which the research areas cover System, Networking, IDC, New Retail, Security, Machine Learning, Database and so on, and Dr. Feijun Jiang to share Alibaba A.I. Labs and their technology development, applications and cooperation.
