The State Ministry of Science and Technology Beijing-Hong Kong Talent Exchange Centre Visited HK PolyU

Delegation led by Mr. LIU Zhiming, General Manager of the Beijing-Hong Kong Talent Exchange Centre visited Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) on 24 March 2021. The delegation was welcomed by Prof. TENG Jin-Guang, President of PolyU, and had a fruitful exchange with the senior management. The delegation then visited the Chinese National Engineering Research Centre For Steel Construction (CNERC) Hong Kong Branch where Prof. K. F. Chung, Director of CNERC, introduced the large scale structural tests and the latest research activities of high strength steel materials and Modular Integrated Constructions (MiC).

The Delegation also paid a visit to the “Innovation Wall” of Innovation and Technology Development Office (ITDO) for the latest research achievement of PolyU. Prof. K. Y. Wong, Vice President (Education) and Director of the State Key Laboratory of Chemical Biology and Drug Discovery, presented souvenirs to the delegation. Mr. Liu thanked PolyU for the warm reception and expressed that the State Ministry of Science and Technology will continue to support PolyU in innovative research and technology development.
