Summary
On 27 May, PolyU welcomed a delegation led by Mr LIU Yun, Secretary of the Weifang Municipal Party Committee, for an industry-academia-research meeting and collaboration sharing.
The delegation was welcomed by Dr Miranda LOU, Executive Vice President of PolyU, and Prof. DONG Cheng, Associate Vice President (Mainland Research Advancement) made a presentation to introduce PolyU’s academic and research achievements.
The meeting involved discussions regarding the possibility of establishing a joint Research Institute, with a focus on fields such as functional future food and new materials for marine fine chemicals. Both parties expressed their commitment to promoting marine health and coastal ecology, achieving resource protection, and driving industrial upgrading and transformation.
