Visit by the Hainan Provincial Qionghai Government delegation

A delegation from the Hainan Provincial Qionghai Government visited PolyU for exchange meeting on October 11. Prof. CHOW Ming-cheung, Larry, Head and Professor of the Department of Applied Biology and Chemical Technology of PolyU and Prof. Simon LEE Ming-yuen, Member of the Research Centre for Chinese Medicine Innovation (RCMI) and Chair Professor of Biomedical Sciences welcomed the delegation.

Prof. CHOW introduced PolyU’s department of applied biology, chemical technology and drug research, while Prof. LEE introduced PolyU’s advancement of food science and nutrition. The two parties had in-depth exchanges on related fields.

At the same time, the delegation also toured the State Key Laboratory of Chemical Biology and Drug Discovery, as well as Food Safety and Technology Research Centre. Throughout the site visit, the delegation gained valuable insights into the scientific excellence and laboratory facilities in the University.
