The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) and China Southern Power Grid Co., Ltd. (CSG) signed an agreement to jointly establish the “Joint Institute for Green and Secure Power Grid” in September 2022. The management committee has officially held the first meeting on 16 March 2023.
The collaboration aims to build up a highly competitive and interdisciplinary research team in the fields of green and secure management of power equipment and green and safe power supply for smart cities to foster the development of new power systems.
