In 2019, PolyU, CASICloud and Altai Technologies signed a collaborative research agreement to establish the Greater Bay Area Industrial Big Data Laboratory with research facilities in both Hong Kong and Guangzhou. The research lab shall spearhead research on industrial big data, artificial intelligence, industrial internet-of-things and industrial safety, as well as develop research talents in the Greater Bay Area. In conjunction with the strong foundation and background, this tripartite research collaboration will greatly accelerate the pace of development and adoption of industrial big data in the Greater Bay Area and beyond.
