I received my Master of Occupational Therapy (China) from PolyU in 2016. Before starting my Ph.D. study at RS, I worked as an occupational therapy lecturer at Kunming Medical University for four years. My past teaching experience has made me more aware of the need for more in-depth research in my field. Therefore, I chose to apply for a Ph.D. at RS, since RS has an excellent academic environment.
I am delighted to pursue my Ph.D. at RS under Prof. Hector Tsang’s supervision. It is also very encouraging for me to have the opportunity to work with a top scientist in areas related to my research interests.
My Ph.D. study focuses on the psychophysiological mechanism of TCM-based intervention to reduce daily sedentary behavior and improve wellness among office workers, which may provide culturally relevant and customized interventions for people with sedentary behavior.
